Osbon-Jackson wedding

Osbon-Jackson wedding was a beautiful ceremony outdoors in our crispy Louisiana fall weekend of Sept 1st.  It was a merely 92 Degrees with a very scant light wind blowing across the lawn!  Ok so a little southern humor for a really hot day!  I do have to say the ceremony location (which I will try to connect with Facebook--no promises) Edgewood Plantation in Farmerville, LA, was a great place to have an outdoor wedding.  It is this newly restored bed and breakfast with an incredible lawn and a big wide sweeping porch and staircase! The bride arrived to the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage. She was escorted down the outside lawn isle by her Dad.  She wore a victorian lace dress in ivory.  The groom was wearing a light striped seersucker suit with turquoise tie.  The bridesmaids wore a one shoulder, short turquoise dresses and the groomsmen wore white button up shirts with turquoise ties and khakis   The two flower girls wore white airy summer dresses with turquoise purses to hold the rose petals.  Ceremony was performed by Pastor Terry Taylor from Family Church in West Monroe, LA.  The reception followed with dancing, great conversation, food catered by Pat's.  The night blooming flowers (Midnight trumpets) were full open and smelling like a mixture of jasmine and honeysuckle as the couple left for their honeymoon.  Overall a wonderful time had by all who attended.  I will be sure and post a few pics very shortly!

Some people ask me why I  post so early...why am I up this early?  Well today I have good reason!  I am going to photograph a bride this morning!  Yes, a very adorable young lady by the name of Jodi!  She is probably headed to Salon 7 right now to have Katie Baugh do some incredible job on her pretty blonde locks!!!  I can't wait to do this.  We get to go to a location I have never been and we are doing a very southern country style bridal session!!! I'm so pumped and I haven't even done it yet!  I'll check back later...
