So I'm lovin this fall weather how about yall?  Nice to have mornings cool and afternoons warm!  I've had some really fun sessions lately...let's see a first pregnancy session...love them!! A first birthday cake smashing session!! Always interesting to say the least...this little one cried when we lit her candle!! That was a first!  We are in full preschool mode this week so I get to photograph lots of little cuties!  Well some not so cuties (attitudes wise!) but they can put on some faces!  I had a little boy last week throw his toy at his childcare worker because he had to sit to have his picture taken!! LLC (laughing like crazy) on the inside, I almost laughed out loud!  I took his picture,  pout and all cause he was soooo cute and had such a big attitude! Well I'm off to another week of adventure.  Family sessions will start in late October so be ready for the family special to be posted on my website!!! It"ll be some fun fall times!!! See ya soon!

Another successful day in the humid Louisiana weather!  Went out early today to photograph one of my favorite families!! The Trahan gang!  ALL of them! So I thought I would post this really sweet one of Andy and his crew.  I started loading all the photographs and this one caught my eye because big sister is being so sweet to baby sister and brother is being so sweet to mom!  I just love it!
On another note, I just want this weather to turn a little cooler and the wind to blow just a little bit!  Isn't it almost fall?  Well we had a great time and took some really unique family pics.  I'm sure I'll post a few more as I go along this week. Happy Saturday yall!

Osbon-Jackson wedding

Osbon-Jackson wedding was a beautiful ceremony outdoors in our crispy Louisiana fall weekend of Sept 1st.  It was a merely 92 Degrees with a very scant light wind blowing across the lawn!  Ok so a little southern humor for a really hot day!  I do have to say the ceremony location (which I will try to connect with Facebook--no promises) Edgewood Plantation in Farmerville, LA, was a great place to have an outdoor wedding.  It is this newly restored bed and breakfast with an incredible lawn and a big wide sweeping porch and staircase! The bride arrived to the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage. She was escorted down the outside lawn isle by her Dad.  She wore a victorian lace dress in ivory.  The groom was wearing a light striped seersucker suit with turquoise tie.  The bridesmaids wore a one shoulder, short turquoise dresses and the groomsmen wore white button up shirts with turquoise ties and khakis   The two flower girls wore white airy summer dresses with turquoise purses to hold the rose petals.  Ceremony was performed by Pastor Terry Taylor from Family Church in West Monroe, LA.  The reception followed with dancing, great conversation, food catered by Pat's.  The night blooming flowers (Midnight trumpets) were full open and smelling like a mixture of jasmine and honeysuckle as the couple left for their honeymoon.  Overall a wonderful time had by all who attended.  I will be sure and post a few pics very shortly!

Some people ask me why I  post so early...why am I up this early?  Well today I have good reason!  I am going to photograph a bride this morning!  Yes, a very adorable young lady by the name of Jodi!  She is probably headed to Salon 7 right now to have Katie Baugh do some incredible job on her pretty blonde locks!!!  I can't wait to do this.  We get to go to a location I have never been and we are doing a very southern country style bridal session!!! I'm so pumped and I haven't even done it yet!  I'll check back later...

Labor Day Wedding

Sept 1st, 2012
Happy Labor Day Weekend to all!  It's going to be a pretty day after hurricane Issac cleared out!  Today is Whitney and Brandon's big day!  I can't wait to photograph their wedding!  It's outdoors and the weather appears to be cooporating well!  This is Whitney just a couple of months ago in her friend Sarah's wedding at Layton Castle.  She is so beautiful and I know she will be stunning in her wedding dress today!  I'll update with pics soon!  Don't forget to not drink and drive or text and drive on this holiday weekend!
